Job Description
Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Account Officer to support daily accounting and financial operations. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This position plays an important role in supporting smooth financial operations and maintaining accurate accounting data.

Responsibilities
  • Post journal entries and update financial statements.
  • Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial documents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for sales transactions.
  • Support payment collection activities and coordinate cheque deposits in the bank.
  • Follow up with clients regarding pending payments and outstanding dues.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records.
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and accounting tasks.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Knowledge of invoicing, payment follow-ups, and transaction processing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Preference will be given to female candidates.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Additional accounting certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience & Education
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered.
  • Educational background in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
